Join the National Museum of African Art for an evening of painting and Ethiopian jazz under the summer skies! Begin your evening with a guided tour of the exhibition African Mosaic, which showcases the museum’s diverse and dazzling collection of African arts. After you’ve been inspired by the beauty and variety of African art, head out the Enid A. Haupt Garden to paint your self-portrait. Use your portrait to consider questions of identities, nationalities, and the all the ways these can interact. Light refreshments will be provided.
