Join artist and poet Joy Jones and let the power of art unlock your subconscious and lead to greater clarity and self-care. Using art to tap into memories, thoughts, and emotions, participants will explore and express their reflections in a journal through images, written word, and mark making. The exhibits of focus will be Heroes: Principles of African Greatness and Habeas Corpus of Laurie Anderson: The Weather at The Hirshhorn Museum. We will meet in the Pavilion of The African Art Museum at 1:00 pm. Materials provided.
