Through artworks from the National Museum of African Art’s permanent collection, Heroes: Principles of African Greatness tells the stories of key heroic principles and personages in Africa’s arts and history. Participate in an interactive treasure hunt filled with riddles and clues to learn about the accomplishments of the heroic figures portrayed in the exhibition.
To prepare for the interactive webinar, explore the Heroes exhibition first. You will receive a list of clues at the beginning of the webinar to guide you through the adventure. Using the clues,
- classify the heroes by their historical time periods and birth countries,
- choose the hero that fits the description of your clues, and
- tell your hero’s story.
