This series of mixed media panels are composed with the weathered, rusted, found objects from demolished buildings in New York City's Harlem, which reminded Nemasetoni of his childhood in Soweto. The panels incorporate photo etchings of selected pages from his father's passbook--an identity document blacks were required to carry under apartheid laws.
