The National Museum of African Art is proud to announce its Africa in Reel Time film series. Once a month, join us for a screening followed by a discussion with museum educators, directors, critics, or professors. Audience participation is welcome! These documentary and feature-length films explore topics as broad and diverse as the continent itself, including racism, self-determination, women’s rights, politics, history, love, faith, and religion.
While most of the selected films are targeted toward audiences in high school and older, don’t miss viewings of Adventures in Zambezia for our youngest art lovers!
Free and open to the public
